I just learned a very valuable lesson - Never and I repeat Never!!! sell to anyone with private feedback. I sold a piece of jewelry to an individual with private feedback. I shipped the item and it was refused - I contacted buyer and they gave me the same address. I shipped again - now I'm losing money and it was refused a second time. Now I'm pi**ed off. I contacted buyer and said I would refund less my shipping charges as someone is playing games and I will not ship a third time. They immediately began a Paypal complaint as non-receipt. I gave Paypal the d.C. numbers for both shipments. This person shows them a copy of where they refused the item and Paypal gives them the whole amount back. Now I'm really in the hole.
To top it off the buyer left me a neg stating that I was a non-perfect seller and that I had lied about shipping the item. Now I've lost money and received a neg.
An expensive mistake but one I won't make again. I blocked this buyer and am adding to my TOS that if you have private feedback do not bid as I will cancel.

Does Ebay have a feature which would allow us to block bidder with private feedback?
We cant be there all the time watching who is winning?

Did they tell you why it was refused?
I recently sent a package that got squished down below the 3/4 " thickness so they wanted priority rate for a first class envelope cause it was no longer 3/4 inches thick with DC on it. SO I resent it making sure it would not get thinner and it went through fine the second time. There was a $3.00 difference in cost so that was why it was refused first time for postage due. I was pi$$ed at first but then got it back and the person really wanted it so resent it just lost the first postage around a dollar 40 but all worked out and got great feedback from her. That is only reason I can think to resend an item after refusal. It was only package I ever had that wanted postage due at other end, guess they were getting real strict with their measurements. I could imagine a person at other end with a little tape measure measuring all envelopes to make sure they met the restrictions. When I got it back it had to be within 1/4-1/8 inch from being the actual 3/4 inch think to go first class and there had to be an old biddy pinching it a bit to make sure it did not fit their regulations that is how close it was. Learned my lesson on that one for sure.
