I set up a google gmail account when they first became available. I've never used it.
I just received an email that says that I requested to change my password. I spamcopped it and it did originate from gmail. gmail's help webpage says they MOL don't want to hear about it. Their page suggests I change my password in that case - so I did.
Unbelievably I had 429 spam emails in that account that I've never used or posted anywhere.
