I've been trying to find a summary of the new rates for domestic and international service. USPS sites offer MUCH more than what I needed/wanted to know. My friendly postal clerk gave me two sheets...one for "Domestic Mail Products and Prices" and one for "International Mail Products and Prices". Both offer summary info that is just what I was looking for. The only other identifying info on the sheets were the numbers: 07EPSSHT 182 and 183. Some of you may have already found this info and may have it but I found these two sheets extremely helpful, concise and informative and thought I'd pass the info along.

The University of Texas at Arlington - Maverick Print
and
Domestic Mail Manual

Thanks for the extra info, Lt. Ray...and glad I could pay back in some small measure for all the help and assistance I find from the kind folks on this board...

Thank you LtRay!
I have bookmarked the site.
I can see this is going to be very confusing! (At least at first!)

Thanks, Lt!
I asked about the sheet today at my PO and the clerks had no idea what I was talking about. They have received nothing and thus far there are no plans for training. One of them said "why can't people just mail everything by Priority?"
Also, it has nothing to do with anything but I get a kick out of the fact that the newest clerk at my PO is named BONG.

The clerks at our little p.o. said they have to go for 3 hours' training on the new regulations to another town. At least they'll know something!

Thanks for the post.
It's going to take awhile to understand it all.
I didn't see anything about priority over 12" cubes increasing the cost, which is what I had heard. I'm glad if that's true - that would be a mess.

I find it is relatively simple to ask for a "ratefold" when at the post office. It is a large card stock item folded over a few times that has a large variety of rates printed all over it.
Myself, being a low volume seller, I have gone to using http://postcalc.usps.gov/ - if I move into high volume, I will likely move to Endicia and just print the darn postage on the label. With the price of gas, the Endicia flat fee looks more and more tempting.

Just reveiwed this page. Quick Service Guide 120 Shipping to zones 5-8 is going to be a PITA. I used to always do flat rate shipping on my listings but I can not really see an easy way to do that now for larger items. There is such a variation in pricing.
Also checked the Priority Mail International rates. Same there, too much of a range in price to apply a flat rate so I took shipping off of those listings. More work for us now if we have to answer all of those " How much is shipping to xxx" questions.

My post office lady said they won't have the new rate sheets until sometime in June. She said I could print it out on the computer, that is fine for me but there are a lot of people in town who do not have computers! They are going to be in for a shock when they try to mail something.
