Rules of marketing -
Market what people need or want.
Which category is this a "need" or a "want"?

This would seem to fall into the DUH catagory.

Well , it is listed under

Listed in category: Everything Else > Weird Stuff > Totally Bizarre

so I guess that Duh would fit

I've sold a few things over the years in those Everything Else categories, usually woo-woo stuff from weirdos. But this stupid smiley face beats them all. Let's watch and see if it actually sells (to someone who should be removed from the gene pool).

All items are shipped free

He has sold 3, he now has only 396 left --- hurry before there are ALL gone

He was selling pieces of paper with smiley faces drawn on them. I think the BIN for each one was $2.50. He said that he wrote a number on the back of each piece of paper and put them in a jar and when one sold he would pull one paper at random from the jar and the buyer would also receive the prize that correspnded to the number. He called it a "gift." and the gifts ranged from .25 cents up to a boxed fireplace screen.

He also offered FREE shipping on everything but he checked Parcel Post option and who ships a piece of paper and a quarter (which is what most people won, I believe) via Parcel Post?
