I listed a pair of $158 Banana Republic boots and had several 0 feedback bidders jack up the final price to $427.00! Now I know this person is not going to pay me but I have no choice but to wait to file a non-paying bidder claim. Has anyone else experineced this and what can be done about it? I saw a person selling a used Dooney & Bourke bag and it was bid up to $10,000! Next thing I saw the bag was relisted at a reasonable price. Is this a scam or game or what?

Perhaps they got tired of myspace ... but seriously, you CAN manage your preferences but you cannot block bidders with 0 feedback. You may want to consider requiring PayPal account for those auctions that could attract frivolous bidding. And you can always require 0 FBs to email for permission to bid and note in your TOS that you reserve the right to cancel bids from those with 0 FB.

However ...

I have had several successful 0 bidders recently, who bent over backwards to do things right. We all started with 0 after all.
