I have not listed anything in a long time and now I see what the fuss is about the "Sell Your Item Form"! I host my images with Vendio and I cannot get them to load into the new form under self hosting. I tried several times and I keep using up the 12 image limit. I will say the old way was alot easier to understand!! I only wanted to put up the Gallery Picture and checked the box for already have images in file.
It shows I used up 6 pictures already???
Then I try and go back and see that there is no Back Button on the form?? and I keep hitting cancel and nothing cancels!! Okay guys what AM I DOING WRONG! Ebay's help button does not tell you how to cancel the pictures or how to get out. Thanks for the help!! Any other things I should know about this form once I get the pictures in it correctly?? Thanks a bunch

Uncheck already have pictures on file - that means you are using pictures hosted by eBay.

Richer may also be experiencing one of the many features of the new sell your item form. That thing is as buggie as Florida lawn log.
I had already refused to use the new form and sent Meggie a letter about how screwed up it was. Then last night when I tried to revise an auction it threw me into it without asking. I tried to use it but the frame froze while trying to update a picture.
I had to close the browser and was lucky enough to get the old form when I accessed it again.

richer101...
With eBay's numerous glitches of late, I do not host ANY images on eBay accept the gallery picture, which I pull off my "A" or "D" disc at the time of listing. For all internal pictures I use the <img src="http://YourImageURLHere"> insert.
Unless my host service goes down, which is rare, there are always pictures in my listing, no matter WHAT eBay may be doing at the time.
Perhaps you would consider hosting elsewhere; save yourself some $$$ and have more consistant images with fewer hassles.

I've had no problems with the listing form on eBay, but perhaps that is because I'm currently listing only store items. And, yes, I use the OLD form only.

Thanks for the quick response!!
How do I access the old form?
I got the Gallery Picture to load but this message comes up "A picture URL (Web Address Cannot contain Spaces)"
What the heck is this??
I host all my pictures with Vendio so I checked the box picture already has a URL for my item. But the picture box shows I have 6 pictures left but there are not any pictures in the box to delete since I don't want to use ebay's picture services.
Thanks again

At the top of the "Sell Your Item" form page, there is a hot link: "List using the original Sell Your Item form."
Try that. I've avoided the new forms for ages, so am not sure this will come up for a newly registered or returning seller.
Good luck!

Your trouble with the eBay sell page is one of the many reasons I still list on eBay through Vendio. I know it's not for everyone, but for me the added efficiency is worth the small amount of extra $$.

I relisted an item tonight and it threw me into the new form. I used it, but what a pain. I wanted to change the pic and finally figured it out, but it was a real headache. Then before I listed it, it would not show me the final complete item to review. Why are they changing this!!
I filled out the survey afterward and expressed my opinions, but that was also a pain and way, way too long!!
