Snip, snip.
My PP card expired recently and they sent me another one with the same expiration date.
Yes, those mischievious kids at PayPal Central sent me a pre-expired debit card. Wasn't that thoughtful?
So I call, finally get a semi-live human. Oh, we can't do anything about that, he says. You have to report your card lost or stolen if you want a replacement.
"Warren," says I, "This is the first, last and only phone call I will be making about this issue. You people screwed up, you fix it."
I'm sorry, we can't do that.
"Okay, cancel it."
He seemed shocked, but really folks, a company that is this bad at doing business deserves to lose some of it.
The cash back was never any significant amount. I probably spent more than that on ATM cash withdrawals. MasterCard's fraud unit has locked my card access six times this year for "suspicious activity".

Fluff put the pile of shards on Ebay maybe someone will bid. LOL Call it Paypal Shrapnel or some such put down. Don't know if I spelled that right(spell check didn't flag it) but you get the idea.
OH if you report it as stolen they charge you for replacement of that little card, they did me about 1.5 years ago. Anything to make money.

Well, aren't we a ray of sunshine.

They had to replace one for me a short while back. I waited. . .and waited. . .and waited. . .and. . .well, you get the picture. The new one didn't show up. I called and was told I needed to wait a while longer. Called again after almost two months. They said it was mailed a long time ago before the last time I called and they told me to wait a while longer. This time they just sent out a new card. That one came in three days. I never did receive the other one. I think they actually forgot to mail the first one.

Glassgirl: This is slightly off topic. Does the credit card work well at getting sap off your car? We have to park our cars under pine trees and have big-time sap problems in the warmest part of the summer.
