With two auctions ending today, I had 2 buyers say they paid with PayPal but I haven't received any notices nor are the payments shown in my account. I recently changed my e-mail address but had no problem logging onto my account. Can anyone give me any thoughts as to what the problem might be? Thanks for any help.

If payments don't show in your PP account, they most likely never made it there. How about on the auctions themselves? Do they show payments made? Ask the buyers to forward their payment notices to you. Sometimes you can tell what the problems are from that. Or if you're using an old template perhaps your old email is still listed there by default as to where the payments should go.
Have you been paid through PP since you changed your email? Perhaps you should ask the buyers to cancel their payments, and pay from your invoice. It's a good idea, by the way, to keep your old email address on your PP account as a secondy one for at least a while after you make changes.

These are my first transactions since I changed the e-mail address. I've e-mailed both buyers and asked them to forward transaction numbers. On my eBay records, the little icon shows "payment with PayPal pending". When I first logged onto my PayPal account, the old e-mail address was there but when I typed in my password, got the "invalid" message. So, went back and typed in the new e-mail address and same password (I didn't change that) and my account came up. This was the main reason it took me so long to switch from dial-up to high speed...I was REALLY reluctant to change my e-mail address for fear of screw-ups like this. Hopefully, it's a minor glitch but I do hate it when customers say they've paid and I can't find it in my account. Sigh...

Is it possible that eBay is still showing your e-mail as the old address? This happened recently when I wanted to pay for an item and used the old e-mail of the seller.

That shouldn't be the problem...I was VERY conscientious and changed my e-mail address on eBay, PayPal and Vendio...and I've gotten "end-of-auction" notices from eBay. As of this second, still no PayPal notices of payments. ARGGGGG

I just checked the "send invoice" space on both auctions...BOTH still have my old e-mail address and indicate payment was sent there. BUT...as I said...when I logged onto PayPal, it wouldn't take the old address. Guess I'll have to call them tomorrow and get it straightened out. This is REALLY irritating though as I DID change my e-mail address with PayPal. Why would the OLD e-mail address still be showing up on the "send invoice" on eBay? (Of course, I ALSO changed my e-mail address on eBay too!) ARGGGGGGG

There is a place at Ebay to change your email address BUT you also have to change the Pay to field on Paypal payments at Ebay for the payment to be sent to correct Paypal account. IF you had just added a new email address at paypal and then made it default the other one would still be a valid email to recieve payments but you would not get a notice as it would have been maybe sent to that old email addy. In other words you should have left old email in list of email addresses until you made sure you got payments on closed auctions.
You have to change both email addresses at Ebay in order to get Paypal payments.

That's what I realize now. You'd think with the zillions of dollars eBay and PayPal get from us that when you change your e-mail address at the designated locations, that change would automatically be changed throughout the system. I just had to manually change the "pay to" PayPal e-mail address on all of my current auctions and I'm NOT A HAPPY CAMPER! I wonder if the necessary process is stated anywhere? So far, all of my current buyers have been very nice and understanding...I THINK I've got it all fixed now.
