I have a buyer who would like to purchase some items from me......................
He sent this email..............Start of email.....I would like to order one of the XXXXXX XXXXX as a gift for a friend in California. I live in Germany, but would ask you to send the item directly to my friend. I can mail you a check--drawn on a US bank, realizing that it would have to clear before you would mail the pennant. Or, I could send you my credit card information, and you could charge it to my credit card--a US credit card, but with a German billing address. Your listing mentions, with respect to credit cards, "seller terms." What are they?......End of email............
What would you do.... need some help advice on this one...............
Thanks to all who respond.

I've sold several like this over the years. No problems. Is it a high-end item or just run of the mill? If you get a US check and it clears, it should work fine, I think.

Why even consider accepting the risk of a credit card if he is offering you a check on a U.S. bank? Take the check and ship when it clears.Sounds like you're dealing with a U.S. serviceman or spouse stationed in Germany.
