I just listed a bunch of auctions using Vendio (as I have always used).

One of them has showed up as a "featured Pro-Pack" highlighted auction with a listing fee of $29.95!!!!

I did not want this. All my setting are pre-set in Vendio and I have never listed an auction with a Pro-Pack.

Is there anyway I can cancel the auction and get a refund on the listing fee (the auction just started)?

Go back over to eBay quickly -- and plead your case to the Live Help folks.

Explain that it was an error and you want to cancel it and receive credit for the listing fee.

What you're hoping for is that since it's only been a very short time, they'll tell you that "as a one-time courtesy" they will do it for you.

But - do it now! If you wait for hours, they may not even consider it.

Let us know how it works out.

...and if they decline to credit you, then since you'd be stuck with it, may I suggest, if appropriate, that you change that auction to the best item you have ready, or nearly ready. Also, load up and list all the better items you can throw on at short notice.

You may as well ride the burst of publicity you'd just paid hefty for.

I once clicked on "featured" in error. The listing would have cost a lot more than I expected the item to bring. I wrote eBay and they canceled the feature and refunded my extra fees.
