Other than reading a few threads about people closing there store because of fee hikes, I admit I havn't followed this scenario very closely. However, now I am thinking about taking on Ebay more seriously. What WOULD make having a store worthwhile? Is is the average cost of items, turnover, number of items sold? I am clueless , help!!

Sales. Without sales you're nothing.

Think about it. Look at the fee structure, look at what you can reasonably expect to get for each of your items and make a reasonable estimate of how long each will sit in your store.

In other words, do the math.
