I recently had an auction pulled because of my wording regarding credit card payments (which I had used for the last couple of years). I have since altered the payment instructions in Vendio but meanwhile I have 20 auctions still up with the 'bad' wording. How can I change this so they don't get pulled?

I tried changing it within the auction but it wouldn't allow me to alter that section on an active auction.

I'd guess you'd need to alter the auctions manually.

A couple of yrs ago I had all of my auctions pulled.
I had just listed 300 right before Memorial Day. We were just getting ready to go some place for the week-end and I checked my site and there was not one auction, all gone.

I had received a notice that there was a problem with the wording of my pay-pal ad. They don't give you a direct reference they just give you a vague one.

I looked could find nothing and at that time there was a section in my e-bay that added some info to my ad that was composed a yr before I started to use Vendio.

Each time i listed there it would be,way at the bottom , but there. I had to call e-bay to get rid of it because it kept coming back.

Today for the upteen time i went in to input the insurance pricing in my e-bay. People will use it, its wrong, and you change it then it goes back to before for some reason.

This will be your problem too till you find where it is coming from and close it down and then relist new auctions.

the auctions that are currently running will not change. you may be able to revise them but that is like looking for needle in a haystack looking thru all the codes for it.
good luck

sthoemke - I mentioned that I tried to alter them but it wouldn't work.

rpm - I know exactly what the problem is and have altered it for my future listings but on existing listings there seems to be no way. It's like you mentioned, go in and change it. Go back and there it is, the old way.
On a relisting it changed without me doing anything, just relisting it fixed the problem.

Steve was correct. You just go in manually and fix them. There are two possibilities though as for why you cannot fix yours.

First: Your listings have less then 12 hours left in them. No revisions are allowed within that time period.

Second: There is either a bid on the item, or there was a bid and it is now retracted. In either of these cases, no revisions are allowed.

If neither is the case, then it would require more investigation. Maybe post an auction number for us to see.
