The $15 eBay store plan has worked for me. Although store sales are down due to eBay's inexplicable search manipulations, it still dwarfs my sales through Vendio store, which stands at ZERO...

Hi pixiamom,
I heard that ebay search engine does not search ebay Store. Is it the case?
I think if you want people to buy from your Vendio Store, you must submit it to the search engine directory. The new service Vendio Publisher sounds good. Lets see how it works.

That is true, sort of. If you are lucky enough to have an item that there are very few of, I think it is 20 or less, then your item will show up in search. If there are more than that, then it is sure luck that someone will find it. On the other hand, if you have something that is relatively rare, then you store is not the place for it. A regular auction would be better suited for that item.
The basics are you will have to advertise your store to realize any consistant sales.

I'm a little confused.
If I have a store and instead of using my own catagories within my store, if I choose to use Ebay catagories instead then will my items show up either in search or will my items show if someone is perusing Ebay by catagory and maybe not necessarilly within stores but instead if they are within the main Ebay site??
I hope that I explained my confusion thoroughly enough.
