I need a good cleaning method for plexiglass and also a good method to remove scrathes. I have this great old plexi trunk I spent 20 years trying to talk my mom out of... I would like to try to "gussy up" it up a bit and use/display it.

Simichrome or Maas polish. Extreemly fine. When used with elbow grease can transform scratched and foggy plexiglass or metal to a sparkling finish.
Commercial over.

I agree with sparkz. Motorcycle windshield polish works wonders. I have also found Flitz metal polish works well also. That stuff just polish's everything.
