I guess I don't have to...I just wanted to. ewora stands for A.Rowe. My first initial and last name.
I'm getting married on June 21st and will be changing my last name from my ex-husbands to my new husbands...
Should I keep the ewora? If I change it will people still be able to find me? What happens to the people who've put you in their favorites list. Will it revert in their favorites to my new name?

Congratulations, Amy!! Keep the Ewora name for now. You can start a second account with a new name. Once you get it built up and get a following, if you still want to, you can combine the two accounts, including feedback, into the new one. Anyone looking for Ewora, will automatically be sent there.

I really wouldn't change a well established eBay ID unless you have zero repeat customers. Otherwise you risk losing touch with them after 30 days when your new ID becomes official.
Often it's easier to just start a new ID and retire the old one i.e. don't list anything under 'ewora'.

Roadsmith...Yes, it's been that way for a long time. Ebay doesn't advertise it in Neon Lights, but it's there. The advantage is that when you combine the old account into the new account, anyone doing a search for the old name will be directed to the new one indefinitely(at least that's the way it used to be. I don't know it they changed it or not) Simply changing names will give the new name that dorky looking newbie icon for 30 days, and after a set length of time (30 days I think), a search for the old name will turn up nothing.

So I suppose there's some easy-to-understand mechanism to combine those two accounts? I wish I'd known that when I had to open a second account because of my paranoid sister-in-law. I had about 200 feedbacks in it when I decided I didn't need it any longer and closed it.
I'm sure there's no way to retrieve it and get those FBs back, LOL. It's been a couple of years.
