An old pottery factory closed years ago, and the museum attached is being shut down and everything in it deacquisitioned. They're selling some of the items on eBay. Has anyone here ever purchased such items with an eye to future inflation? Would you do it now?

This ain't up there in Flemington NJ perchance, mayhaps??
When I was a kiddo (if memory serves, either Grant or Ruffledbird B. Hayes was Prez?), we used to drive up the the "factory" store in Flemington so's me Mama-Mia could stock up on her favorite pattern -- "LeMorte de Skunk in the MOTR"
Twas a fine weekend family outing...Other than that they kept playing silly games with me where the ole family BUICK would pull away from the parking lot & I'd throw me tender liddle bod at the windshield after catching up with them about 2 miles down the hill...MY OLD MAN was always quite the jovial prankster (???)...

I sold just about all on eBay after my Mom passed 2 years ago -- got GOOD prices as most of our item were un-chipped.
Many on this board feel that Stangl ain't worth much because of chips. I beg to disagree, but, I digress...
