I bid on some Frontline for cats on E-Bay,won the auction and now after I have sent payment,E-Bay says the auction has been cancelled. Since when do they cancel auctions after they have gone off? Does that mean I have been screwed and won't get my item? I payed through Paypal.

Same thing happened to me this month. I contacted the seller. Their items were arbitarily pulled, they had sold bunches of them ( dutch auction) They shipped as promised. Their item was legit.

They can cancel an auction anytime, as long as it's in their database. Makes no difference if it's active or closed. As I mentioned in the other thread, it's most likely a counterfeit knockoff and they probably got VERO'd by Frontline. Another possibility is that this is a hazmat, and strict shipping and packaging requirements apply and it can't be sent through the mail. In addition, it's an insecticide and it has to be approved for use in the state in which it's sold. If it didn'd have the proper wording and certification info in the description, officials in any one of the 50 states could have that auction ended, and California, where Ebay is located, has the strictest regulations in the country and would zap it in a heartbeat.

If you have paid thru Paypal, what do you care?
You can always file complaint with Paypal if you dont receive your item.

" it's most likely a counterfeit knockoff " OR NOT! EBay pulls first and asks questions later when it comes to Vero...

So tell me sorta OT about ordering pet meds through eBay. I looked at some US sellers for Advantix - feedback looks fine, but are they REALLY selling what my vet does? Anyone try these? The price is surely attractive!

Yea Toasted it's the same Seller and they had already E-mailed me it was on the way. I had bought some Revolution from the Vet and it isn't worth a $hit. I think it must be Viagra for Fleas, poor cats got more fleas than ever.

You'll be very happy with the frontline ! It was my first time trying it cause I just couldn't see paying the price they ask for it at the vet office but it sure works just like they say....24 hours later no fleas on the kitty.I'm truly amazed....and my daughter thought the Hong Kong stamps on the package were way cool lol so she was a happy customer too

Here is a legit company selling on the Internet. 1800petmeds.com; I have used them for several years for Frontline for my dog. Very prompt service.
