Last night someone bought up $125 of my stuff. However that person is in the U.K., which is not the problem but they want me to ship to their neice in Canada. What is the best way for me to cover myself on this transaction. If I take paypal it will not cover me here correct (unconfirmed address). This buyer has 300+ positive feedbacks. How should I hand this?? I really appreciate any input you could provide? Thank you?

tell them you want a intl money order drawn on US bank.
Also tell her to do some research on Canadian customs.
if she is willing to ship UPS,you can inquire how much is customs and let her prepaid it so her niece does not have to.

Since everything is now trackable on line through the US postal service customs number (although sometimes you will have to go the recipient country's postal service web site to follow after it departs the US), I don't see a big problem with PayPal (unless I'm incredibly naive), especially not if the customer has that kind of positive feedback. It's going to Canada, not to Uganda. Just watch for those transborder transaction added PP fees, if any, that tend to take a bite out of your net payment.

The PayPal SELLERS' UN-PROTECTION POLICY now also applies to shipments to CANADA, just as long as you ship (just like da good ole USA) to CONFIRMED addresses -- if NOT, then yer flapping in the wind...

Unless your UK buyer has her niece's Canadian address as confirmed address, you get no seller protection as you are not shipping to a confirmed address.
Your buyer may have high feedback, but if her niece refuses the package if she does not want to pay high customs duty,it would be returned back to you.

Without getting technical on the good info you've been given, above, I want to say that I've shipped many items to another address for a buyer with no problems ever. Even a buyer in Europe wanting the item to go to Russia (made me verrrry nervous but it worked fine). But $125 worth of items--I'd take the advice given above on payment method.

If you are lucky. Then there is the problem with return shipping fees. I wouldn't do PayPal if your life depended upon it.
