Every time I send anything to KY. it seems to take forever. It is not just pkgs, it is also 1st class mail. i.e. my brother lives in Lexington & it may take 10 days for him to receive a letter from me out here in CA. Last Wedmesday (the 10th) I sent a pkg by Priority Mail. It was delivered this morning @8:25AM. I have shipped to evey state in the Union & it never is over 3 days anywhere else in the contigous USA. Are they still using horse & buggy back there?

don't know Sanmar. i once sent a package priority/express to my Dad in Virginia from here in Ky. the whole reason for paying extra to send the package that way was because...it was almost Christmas and i wanted his present to get there on time...two weeks later, it arrived in Virginia, which borders Ky.!

When packages fall off the horse into a mud puddle they have to be repackaged. Some of the horses are lazy and it takes two weeks just to get them out of the state. Most of them are ridden by Kentuckians which mean they usually go the wrong way. Really what do you expect from a Hillbilly!

You all got my curiosity up so I checked a bunch of shipments to KY in the last month. Looks like all my 1st Class and Priority Mail only take 2-3 day's to get there from Southern PA.

I have no problem getting mail to Kentucky. For me it's Nevada - takes forever and a day to get mail to Nevada - ok actually about 7 to 10 days for a first class letter.
