OK... I've looked on ebay, Google and so on for CLEAR CELLO BAGS in 5 x 7 sizes, without much luck. I don't need 2000 bags, just about 50 to 100.
So thought maybe you could direct me to a source for this small quantity at a reasonable price. They don't even need to be "Acid Free". Just want to use them for a few favors.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!

I know this is probably a stupid idea, but I've used clear baggies, ziplock or otherwise, from the dollar store for small books etc that I don't want people to rip through.

I like cello bags. I buy them for packaging potpourri, Christmas cookies, large lots of earrings, etc.
Plastic bags are fine for many things, but cello makes it special.
I usually get mine at those packaging store places. You know, the retail outlets that sell boxes and such.
You can get them online in quantities as small as 200 from PaperMart.

They have extremely competitive prices on most all shipping supplies, so order several things and save on freight.

I use those clear plastic sleeves, 3 x 5, for recipe cards or any cards 3 x 5, for most postcards I mail and include my packaging slip in that.

I don't use cello bags for shipping either. My cards are shipped in hard plastic holders. I have to confess, I don't think I know what "cello" is for sure.
Edited to add:
I looked it up through Fluffy's link - that's the crinkly stuff? I agree those are nice for favors and gifts.

Kind of curious as to exactly what a cello bag is myself. I know on the other side of the pond they refer to what we call scotch tape as cello tape. Might just be a generic term for plastic.

Thanks, All!
I'll check out these sites this evening.
For those who asked, "Cello Bags" are see-through thin plastic bags used for candy and treats. Tie them up with a bit of ribbon and give them to friends and neighbors. I wanted them for Easter treats for our grandson to take to school for his friends. I may be running a little late with this idea, however, and may have to resort to getting them locally...

Hi, check this site -www.the2buds.com. I buy all of my postcard supplies there, they are good people and ship fast. They will sell in small quantities of 25 or 50 also.
Hope that helps.

Andrea - I hope you aren't buying toploaders from 2Buds - they are REALLY expensive - they charge $15 more than I do for 200 and are more expensive all across the board. I only sell/buy toploaders though so I can't say how they rank for the other things

I doubt if you'll find a true cellophane sleeve for postcards. Most of the soft sleeves are like extra thick baggies. The expensive ones are vinyl-like (I want to say mylar?)

If you're running short on time, you might be able to source them at a Michael's-type crafts superstore.

Great idea, Fluff!
We Do have one smallish Robert's Craft Store in Cedar (our nearest town), along with 3 grocery stores, a Wal-Mart and a Dollar Store.
If nothing there, I'll go south to St. George for an afternoon shopping trip. I'm ready for a weather break... It's snowing again!
