Yep I ate too many twinkies. They came out with the Bananna cream filled ones and I just had to have some. They have not been made since WWII or so I heard on the news last week. They are good.
So with that thought in mind I did a search on Ebay and they are selling them there. Go figure. Maybe some towns have not had them yet. Anyway my question is can you sell food on ebay. Maybe I am thinking of some other something like beer wine etc. Just thought food was out. I am not going to do it as there is not a twinkie that can pass through these paws that does not get eaten.
Anyone else tried the new bananna cream filled ones yet. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM-good.

Yes, you can sell food (with some exceptions) on Ebay. In fact, there are several enterprising Girl Scout leaders who sell Girl Scout cookies on Ebay. They make a bundle, because for many people, especially in remote areas, this is the only way they can get them.

That does sound good Irked! If you look thru the food listings on ebay you'll find a lot of thhe specialty flavoritems that come out. My favorite are the Key Lime Almond Joys.
The best ever though were the Dulce de Leche M&Ms

WOW Key Lime Almond Joy? I have not seen those. AJ regular candy is a favorite candy of the mrs. May have to find some if I can or get them on ebay if they are there.
Going to have to get out of my rut and do more searches on the site for goodies to munch on I guess. Like I need more sweets.
Sparkz I can see where girl Scout Cookies would do well on the ebay site. It seems harder each year to find the scouts selling them. Guess there is too much mischief going on to go door to door like the old days.

They have them on ebay. If you have a friendly local grocer they may be able to order some for you. They are white chocolate coated and freaking amazing (And I don't usually like Almond Joy). Nice light flavor. Not overpowering on the lime and not that funky artifical lime flavor either.

I saw those banana twinkies at the local thrift bread store the other day. They didn't sound good to me at all. I only like real bananas and nothing with the banana flavoring.
Every year I usually buy at least 10-15 boxes of GS cookies but this year we only bought 1. They're getting so expensive anymore. I remember being in Girl Scouts and my parents would buy a whole case of thin mints every year from me. Back then you actually got a carry box kit with several boxes of cookies to sell door to door. I remember those days going to your neighbors and around the block selling your cookies. Nowadays they just take orders or set up somewhere to sell them. Of course it's way too dangerous to go door to door anymore.
I just joined a gourment mix company and will be using Ebay to sell mixes as soon as I get some mixes in. This will be the first time I have tried to sell anything in the food category.

[i]"OK Tom, What are you talking about?
Why bring Monkey Porn into it? My signature line has nothing to do with that site. If you don't like it than don't look at it.
I see signature lines ranging from stupid politics to advertising websites.

Hey Irked, Easter is just around the corner and you'll probably overdose on marshmallow peeps then, just about the time you make yourself throughly sick of the Banana Twinkies.
Didja hear about the smart cookie that made a buck selling girlscouts?
