this covered butter dish has a paper label saying original imperial and has a mark etched the dish also what is the mark on the dish?

This is Imperial Glass - I think it's from the depression era on and most of what you see is newer, more like the 50's and 60's. However I'm not an expert so maybe someone will come by and confirm.

It is Imperial's Hobstar pattern. Probably from the 1970's.

Also with the empressed flowers, it is known as 474 or four-seven-four.

Here ya go 474 Butter Good luck getting $45 for it.
