How in the heck does one get buyers to actually pay attention to the checkout instructions email automatically sent by Vendio at the auction's close. I put clear instructions in my auctions on how to check out, but I still get only about 75% compliance (even when I resend Vendio checkout emails in the hope that they'll get a clue). I suspect that auction close emails sent from eBay are confusing them.
Any ideas?

Are you me??? (LOL!)
I'm not the buyer and I'M confused. I got emails up the ying yang that eBay sent my buyers, that eBay sent me about my sell, that VD-O sent my buyers, that VD-O sent me about my sell....
If I'm confused (the one "trying" to keep my finger on the pulse of the sell), surely they must be.
Of course, as a newbie, I may be doing this thing altogether wrong so maybe you shouldn't listen to lil 'ol me!

Maybe 25% of the buyers don't want to go to a checkout page on vendio to pay for their auctions. I know I won't do it. These days, the only way I pay is with paypal. No paypal, no sale, no exceptions anymore. There isn't anything I am looking for that I can't buy elsewhere! No stupid checkout pages either.

Ditto Ebayvet. I stopped using VD checkout because it confused too many of my buyers. I think they get too much email already.
I now use eBay checkout, have for 2 years, and have yet to get a complaint from my buyers and they pay fairly quickly.
As for Paypal, I love it and my buyers love it and I haven't had any complaints there either. I've had 2 instances of some jerk trying to rip me off and both times Paypal settled in my favor, but then I play by the rules which probably makes all the difference.

eBay always sends to you, a email when an auction is completed whether won or lost. That cannot be turned off. It only sends your winner their winning bid notice. I would think that is a must to show that they won the auction. In that notice it has a personal notation from me stating I will send them an ebay invoice within 5 hours at the end of auction. It also tells them how to pay and to also send me their name and address if they are not paying by PayPal and I want that notice within 3 days. Not the payment as it says in my auction that I have a 10 day payment option.

Actually Libra (and anyone else who cares), ebay auction notices can be turned off. If you go to "my ebay" on the left hand side scroll down until you get to "my account" and then "ebay preferences" one of the options will be to view/change your "notification preferences".

I do not use Vendio's WBN & C/O notice. I send an invoice through eBay ASAP after the auction closes. I put all of the necessary information in the block designed for messages. See,s to work quite well.

Libra...Am I understanding this correctly? The winning bidder notice that Ebay automatically sends out at the end of the auction has a personal notation by you? If so, how did you get it in there? I wasn't aware it could be done.

Yes it does and here it is.
"I will contact you within 5 hours of the end of the auction by sending you an eBay invoice for the total amount of the auction please wait for my invoice for instructions. If your NOT combining auctions you may pay immediately as postage is noted in theauction. If you are combining auctions please wait for my invoice for proper amount. If you do not hear from me within 5 hours please email me."
I will find out where you put it. Do you list from Vendio?

Found it. go to your account and then to
eBay Site Specifics. About 2/3 down the page you will see a place where you can put a personal message in and that is where I use that.
