When I logged on to Vendio I find a warning at the top of the page that says my Ebay Token will expire soon. What is an Ebay Token? In over 5 years with Vendio I have never seen this warning.

I have that also. When you click the link it just takes you to a page that shows your information as to what services to use. Nothing there talks about a token.

Think of a token as being like a cookie. It is a small file on the ebay site that authorizes Vendio to upload your auctions and check auction status. By using Vendio, you have given them a proxy to act on your behave. The only way Ebay knows that you have allowed this is by storing a token.
The tokens now have an expiration date. I don't think they did in the past.
I became aware of them while using another auction service.
If you click on "My Ebay" and then select "Ebay Preferences", at the bottom of the page you will see the names of sites you have authorized to access your account via a token.
