I don't know what's up with my eBay payments. Maybe it's just the certain buyers I have.

The last 11 sales I've had not one person has paid with PayPal. Not one. They either have not responded to my Invoice/email or they fill out checkout asking how to pay.

I checked to see if the PayPal logo is in my auctions and it appears to be. So what the heck?

I have no idea. Maybe I'm just having a run of buyers who don't use PayPal?

I dont mind MO's. I'm going to Louisville for work the first week of June so I'm saving all money orders I receive for that trip. But it's weird to be having no PayPal payments at all.

Helga -- save the MOs and buy a printer.

Pelorus

I'm buying a printer on Friday when I get paid ~ I found one at Walmart for $48. Basic, will do what I need it to do.

The MO's are being cashed and put aside for my work trip )

That is weird. I seemed to have more checks and money orders for a while earlier this month but it's back to paypal now and it was only about 1% even then??

I've been getting a lot more money orders, which the problem became so bad with the Nobody excepts International Money orders that I willing to take checks again, you still run the same risk. I have noticed more Sellers putting Western Union money orders only in their auctions. Bet they are having the same problem I have had.

Outside the United States most payments are bank to bank account through the national and international banking clearing houses and are often free and same day. Few countries use checks with the exception of France (historical reasons).

We only accept US money orders from our US customers (any except USPS domestic only ones), as they are encashed free by our bank at interbank exchange rates. Most other international customers pay direct into our bank account at no charge to us or them.

Helga - I have noticed an increase in mailed payments too. Before all the scammers and PayPal troubles, I would estimate 90% of my buyers paid through PP. Now i would guess that about 75% use PP and the rest mail in payment

Interesting; I had 7 auctions sold on Sinday eve & all paid with P/P. All are shipped.

In the last 24 hours I have sold 37 items and 17 have paid with PP. YIKES! That is LESS THAN 50%!! I haven't invoiced sales made during the day yet so some will pay when invoiced ..the rest are mailing payments. My auctions for tonight haven't ended yet.
