I got a weird message this am and suddenly my screen dimmed out and won't come back bright. At first everything was really slow in addition to dim but I ran a virus check and now that's OK.
I'm using an IBM laptop. Can anyone help.

Are you running off battery power? If not and you are plugged in, check your connections. Hopefully it's something that simple. Sounds like it just went into a powersaving mode because of low power resources.

No I am plugged in. I checked my connections and all seem fine. Wonder if my power pack could be bad?
