I have to agree with him on the "losers" label. Don't like the shipping, don't bid and move on. You know, people can spend .99 on something and still have something to complain about. I've seen it in the feedback of others - Shipping too high. The item may have cost them a whole .01, but the shipping was too high. I think they need to get a life.

What was it, a car jack? Can a jack really fit in a priority mail box? I would think it would be too heavy and rip the box without double boxing it - esp. the way the po throws things around.
I agree Cheryl, its no picnic trying to make money doing this. Still, you walk a real fine line with the s/h/i if you cant even cover your costs along the way.
- Why do so many buyers think its all sh* you have in your garage somewhere? And even at that, like you got it for free to start with?

As a seller, I can get a little put out by the ones that sell items for 1 cent and $20 shipping. But as a buyer, I have bought those auctions. The price of the item is your bid plus the postage. If that's too high, then don't bid. If you bid, then don't complain and leave bad feedback.

You're right. Don't bid and don't leave bad feedback. If you've received your item and you knew what the shipping charges were prior to bidding or if you didn't but were too stupid to ask, negative feedback is unwarranted. I've seen people leave just that kind of feedback. I have to wonder if these types of bidders know they are on multiple blocked bidders lists. That goes for positive/negative feedback. I just had one. Shipping was quick, but the item was smaller than she thought. With the dimensions clearly stated in the add, that last comment was uncalled for and I added my comment to that feedback. Of course, this was a relative newbie!
I feel bad for this guy. I think he needs "Ask the Seller a Question" questions rooting him on. Enough is enough already. There is a definite abuse of that system.

It's the ones that don't post the shipping in the auction then slam you with the over the top shipping charge that PO me....I asked a seller yesterday about shipping a CD(start bid 2.00) and for 1 CD coming from Ohio to South Carolina he wanted 6.75 to ship it Priority. To me thats just way over charging and some poor buyer is gonna get stuck paying that cause it's not listed in the auction.

Looks like another seller bit the dust with ebay burnout!
I don't know if the cast iron jack WOULD fit in the flat rate box or not but I am amazed at the people who don't know about the flat rate boxes! I have stood in line at the PO behind people who have bought the USPS for sale boxes - packed them and then paid more than $7.70 to ship!! DUH!! OF course the counter people don't say anything....
I got 200 rigid postcard sleeves in one of those boxes and the package weighed in at $19.80 priority shipping - had to remind the clerk that it was FLAT RATE!! Such a deal!
