Anyone know of a collections company that handles non-paying bidders? Just for the sake of doing so, I would love to be able to turn some non paying bidders over to a collection agency. Every now and then I get one that really ticks me off by not paying, then giving me a sob story of how they lost their job, and then i go through and see they are bidding on expensive golf clubs, plane tickets to hawaii, or whatever other luxury they want to actually pay for. Yes, these have all happened, and right now I have a guy who is a golfer who has burned me on 3 auctions. "I lost my job, I can't afford to eat, blah blah blah" and then a few days later bids on golf clubs. You have no idea how livid i am about this moron.

A funny story... I left him 3 negatives this morning for non-payment. He tries to retaliate, leaves one negative and two accidental positives. I guess he forgot to click "negative" when he left them. His comments were false claims stating I tried to make him buy different items other than listed. Which isn't even close to being true. I've had those items in stock for at least 6 months now.

stopwhining is right; Its next to impossible to collect on an eBay contract. Really a waste of time.

You can't collect money from someone who hasn't gotten a product from you. As far as your bid being a binding contract - ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. It's not. What has happened to you, has happened to all of us. It's the cost of doing business on eBay.

Forget the collection agencies. Give cousin Vinnie a call.

Send the cowfarm after him. Take a look at this forum thread to see her photo. That will scare the money out of him.

i kinda figured that was the case, but i haven't thought about for a few years, and thought that there was a chance, small as it may be, that someone figured out a system to deal with this problem.

it is quite a sad thing to have to deal with a 3 auction deadbeat, especially one who lies to no end. some people have no ethics whatsoever.

apparently he took my words, "what comes around goes around" (referring to filing warnings with ebay to get this moron suspended) as a threat because now his last message through the dispute system says that he will take care of me. alot of big talk from someone who is too poor to eat, but can still manage to pay for spendy golf clubs and green fees. lol.

i have a serious dislike for golf, and this guy has only solidified my belief that golf courses should be bulldozed to make way for low income housing. ;o)

Rusty, My best advice is cancel his bid block him as a bidder and forget about the moron. KARMA is real he will get it in his face sometime somewhere.Hopefully he will think of what he did to you when it happens!
