Anyone ever get an email from eBay saying an item has "ended" but it's really a phish email?
I got an email stated an item had ended by eBay....but didn't say why. They had my name, the item number...but the item had NOT been ended and it actually ENDED with winning bidders and a completed transaction.
The only link was one to eBay's rules and regulations...it's possible I would have to sign in for the phish to get me....

I got one recently that looked like it was asking a question. It's gotten to the point where you can't click on any links in emails. Whenever anyone asks me a question, I go into the item on ebay, and answer it from there. Pretty sad, I usually can spot the bad ones right away, but this one definitely was very well done and probably fooled some people.

Got one just last week. I know it was fake but it still ticked me off knowing there are a bunch of low-lifes out there.

Any time you have an auction ended by Ebay, it will come from "[email protected]" and it will give the specific reason the auction was ended. Don't ask me how I know this
