In this power sellers tos he states. Please email us with any questions you may have because all sales are final. Ya right.
I have written to this seller 3 emails with no response. Why do they write that in their auction if they don't abide by their TOS.
If I don't hear from him I probably will not bid on his auction but you can bet when in the area I will stop at his store and give him a piece of my mind.

Set up a buyer's account. Bid on the item. Pull his contact information. Call him at 2:00 AM and give him a piece of your mind. Then retract the bid.

Jack...Not evil. Smart strategy. When you wake them up in the middle of the night, they're in no shape to argue. All they can do is listen. Plus, as an added bonus, the S.O.B. won't be able to get back to sleep that night.

Who uses their home phone for ebay? Seems to me that is asking for trouble. If you are, check out http://www.callwave.com - For a few dollars a month, you get a phone number that you can designate where you want messages forwarded.

Callwave = Evil. Biggest bunch of schysters on the internet. I'm very familiar with their slamming practices and their underhanded techniques. I would rather give my home number to one of the FBI's 10 most wanted than to deal with that company.

He has right in his auction where his business is in Milwaukee. I am sure I can find that in the telephone book but I will stop there and have a few words with him/her.
If he didn't say all sales are final I would have bid. Then if I would have won I would have taken a short trip on saturday up to his store so he couldn't make money on shipping.
If I stop there soon I will report back and tell you what he said...

I just did the toolhaus thingy and read his negative feedback. Sounds like a bad seller to me. Even if I want the item I would never buy anything from the seller. Even though he has many positives his negatives say what kind of a seller and person he truly is.

if ure not buying from him/her, why are u insisting on bothering him/her?
yeah he shouldnt ignore ur emails.. for whatever reason, we ignore certain buyers sometimes too, no?
and if he's such a bad person from his negatives.. why are u even bothering with this?
maybe im missing something here, was there a previous history with this particular seller or something?

I'm sure if Libra goes out of her way to give this naughty man ( a total stranger that she hasn't bought anything from) a piece of her mind he will repent and become a better seller.

When a Seller says "All Sales Are Final" I get the impression I'm buying savage goods. I had bought a spy camera from a Powerseller, when I got it it didn't work,I e-mailed no response. A lot of those out there.

Libra - Please don't title this thread "power sellers" (plural) - your beef is with one of a gazillion power sellers.
And MAH - I think "savage" goods sound kind of interesting

Too often on this board all Powersellers are disparaged because of the actions of one or two.
Over what period of time did Libra63 e-mail him asking questions? Was it hours or days?
Then if I would have won I would have taken a short trip on saturday up to his store so he couldn't make money on shipping.
Personally, I would object to a buyer doing that without making arrangements before bidding because the items I sell on ebay have never been kept at my store.
And I wouldn't be too pleased if some total stranger walked into my store and started ragging me out for the way I choose to operate my business on ebay.

Well neglus I have had bad dealings with other power sellers also. Image stealing, description stealing etc so I think I can use the pleural and now this.
I was told by a power seller "I have a right to steal your image. How do you expect that I can do so many auctions I haven't time to do my own".
Do you feel that is right?
I feel if they are to busy to answer my emails that they shouldn't have that in their auction. Quite a few of the negatives he has is that he doesn't answer emails, which he said to email him, and also bad merchandise.
I would never treat buyers like that. I answer each and every email. I refund if the merchandise is not as described. He doesn't as shown in his feedback also. He states all sales are final.

He's upfront in his auctions and states that all sales are final so why should a bidder expect a refund?
Just because you handle your auctions your way, please don't expect every other seller to be like you. Now you see some warning signs with this guy so just don't deal with him.

No, I didn't miss it Libra63. I commented because you then went on to say:
I refund if the merchandise is not as described. He doesn't as shown in his feedback also. He states all sales are final.
So I was just making a point that all sellers choose to run their businesses as they see fit and not all are the same. Nor should you expect them to do as you do.
And I still think it's unfair to judge all powersellers by a few bad experiences. I think the majority of powersellers work hard to please their customers.

Maybe I am too sensitive about this Powerseller branding thing...but a jerk is a jerk is jerk and by any other name he is still a jerk. The "powerseller" by his name has nothing to do with jerkiness. Not ALL PS are too busy..not ALL PS steal images..not ALL PS are jerks. In fact I would bet that the percentage of PS that are these things is very small and not at all indicative of a trend among PS's.
"Powerseller" simply means a seller has sold an average of $1000/month sustained for last three months and maintains 97% FB rating...hardly an exclusive club.
oh, and some white guys can dance and some black guys are terrible athletes too.

I can't blame you Libra for bringing up your frustration with sellers like this! You are wise not to bid if his feedback is so bad.
It is ironic that he directs people to email with questions and then doesn't answer the emails. He probably is a frequent board poster (not here thank god) who always complains about buyers not reading the TOS too LOL
