It could be cheaper too. Depending on how much you ship, you could get a lower quote. I have a flat rate plan and it is great.

I have been using dsi insurance for about 2 yrs now. but only to ship from aust to the rest of the world. cost is $1.60.us per $100.us.
australian insurance for the same thing is about $6.40.us.
i asked dsi how much to insure from aust to aust. and they quoted me at the international rate. $1.60.us. per $100.us.
that is why i wanted the rate for usa to usa. i figure it should be the same for australia to australia. i am going to speak to their sales dep tomorrow our time.
i am very happy with DSI.they are very prompt and courteous. and sort problems very quickly for me.
