Yuck. This weather is getting me down. Southern California under a cloud!

It was bright and sunny here today. Great except for the 25 degree temp! It was 4 this morning.

ebayvet: We're in the San Jacinto mountains above Palm Springs, altitude 6,000 feet at our house. We can drive 45 minutes down to Palm Springs and get bright sunshine most days. THIS weather is, to me, the worst kind to have--unless you count hurricanes and tsunamis, I guess.

Heavy rain, thunder, lightning and wind here in Central Calif. All in all, a very refreshing break from the fog we've had for the last 2 weeks

Down here in South FLA we have had rainy, windy, gloomy weather all day. It was so dark that all I wanted to do was to lay down and sleep the day away. I hope it clears up by tomorrow because I'm taking my little girl to the rodeo.

I forgot to mention above, in addition to the severe weather here in the Central valley, we had 4 earthquakes here also. They were all within 40 miles of me and one registered 4.0 That's strong enough for a china seller to justify a couple shots of Jack Daniels.

I think what makes it so miserable is that the rain is COLD. I'll take rain, wind, even fog, if it just isn't so dang cold. I think cold rain is the worst kind of precipitation.
Sorry to be so whiny; I try not to complain here in town because we were in a drought for so long that we should be grateful. But sheesh. So I complain here, where I know people will understand.

Everyone - sorry to hear your weather is so bad. However, I'll take what you've got over what we've had all winter anyday! I'm sure the other posters from the North and NE would agree!! I'm sick of snow, snow and more snow and equally as sick of the arctic fronts that keep slamming out way. Temps in the 30's or even 20's I can handle. Temps in the single digits and teens, I cannot. My bones are too old for this.
It's been miserable weather all over the country. It's been a crazy winter.

Mine too we have been down to 43 below zero this week (the lowest) and today its 4.8 degrees above zero (the high) I have to jump in the shower 3 times a day just to keep from freezing up! We haven't had the snow we have had the artic express. New Hampshire is beautiful but winter here SUCKS sorry, I rarely use such language....

We just got our first measurable snow here in NE Oklahoma. I think we got about 2-3 inches depending on how close to the Kansas border you are. We are about 75 from it. It was pretty coming down but that's all I can about it because it's COLD now.
