Some folks claim that it was already announced on the AB back in May so that would be 7 months notice.
Miz Cleo is supposed to return my call shortly. Last time I spoke to her she mentioned something about them changing the name to GLD (Garbage Listing Day)

Yeah, usually late the night before a FLD.
So if you think it will be the 26th, you should start writing them up, or getting them ready now. No harm in having auctions ready, even if it isn't the 26th.

Thanks guys, I thought it was pretty late the day before. I have quite a few things pending on Vendio ready, but with a big family, and lots of Christmas work and activity, if it turns out to be a fixed price auction, it's going to be a lot of work changing everything, and we have our big family gathering on the 26th. Guess I'm as ready as I can be without knowing the actual date!

Amber...I am like you. I have over 300 items ready to go but if it turns out to be a fixed price FLD I am going to sit in the floor and cry. I will be very busy with family from now until late Christmas day so will check in after the crowd leaves and see if ebay has announced anything. This will be my 6th Christmas and it has always been a regular FLD but who knows!! Guess beggars can't be choosers so will have to take what they give but would rather have the auction type one (so I don't have to change over 300 auctions after I quit crying).

Traditionally they give 12 hours notice, but that is not in stone either. Last Christmas, they gave 8 hours notice. The FLD before that it was 24 hours, so beginning now, I would check their boards two - three times a day from now until the actual day it happens.

The first person who sees the FLD on the Ebay board needs to immediately let us know!! I am working on auctions now in both regular and fixed to get ready.
