Sold an item on 12/11. Sent the invoice through Vendio and it bounced. Sent a direct e-mail and it bounced. Oh well... wait for them to e-mail me.
They contact me through ebay with the same reply to e-mail (by the way, WebTV address..are those prone to bouncing?). Guess what, bounced again.
On 12/16, the buyer contact me through their work e-mail wanting to know why I haven't contacted them. She told me that the last item she tried to purchase, the seller would never contact her so she had to neg them (I wonder if some poor seller got neg'd because the buyers e-mail didn't work?). So I replied back with the necessary info for completely the transaction.
Yesterday, again through the ebay contact system, buyer asks for totals and such. Reply bounces. I did go to ebay and send a payment reminder, but wonder if that would go through either.
Any suggestions?

i dont think it is webtv,as i email someone on webtv many times a day ,she is in florida/
why dont you pick up the phone and call her?

Get her contact info and call her. She needs to know she's not receiving your numerous emails.
OR
Invoice her through the eBay listing, including a note that your emails to her are bouncing back.

If it were me, I'd pull her contact information and give her a call rather than do the "tag you're it" thing.

Get her contact info and CALL HER COLLECT.
That's guaranteed to get her attention. There's also no reason why you should pay for a long distance call to this twitterbrain.

No, it won't.
Simple rule of thumb: If your initial email (which is based on their eBay-registered address) bounces, no email sent through any system of eBay's is going to get there, either.
Unless she changes her address sometime during this ordeal...

Same thing happened to me two weeks ago. But I wasn't getting bounced email notifications either. But I was receiving his emails loud and clear. I was getting totally irritated because I'd sent his email three times upon his request. The buyer requested my eBay information and called me asking for his total. So I called him back, he gave me his wife's email address and we got it all straightened out. At that point I think we were both getting ticked off and sometimes it's easy to speak your mind via email and perhaps sound like a real jackass, but it was actually nice to speak to a buyer instead of just emailing and was much friendlier that way too. Turned out to be a really nice transaction.

I didn't see where you tried to contact her through the work address. I would think that would be the way to go. I certainly don't think it is Web-TV.

I sent my buyer a penny through paypal once and guess what.... the e-mail made it and it's cheaper than a long distant call lol ....just put your shipping cost and all info needed to get to the buyer in the paypal invoice

Dah,
Then why are you still trying to contact this person through the bad e-mail address? Use their work address and make sure to tell them their listed e-mail with ebay is bad.
Then send a second e-mail with the purchase info or even better, send the paypal invoice to the work e-mail.
