I had an auction end last week. They paid me through Paypal on Sept 13. I send out item. Ok everything is fine. A couple days ago I get another Paypal payment for the same thing from this buyer. I send them a refund and let them know it's a duplicate payment and I had shipped the item out already. Then today I get another payment for the SAME THING. I don't have time to email this person and refund their money all the time. Three times is going too far. They need to pay attention to their Paypal and e-mails. Any suggestions to make this person "Wake Up"? Obviously they don't pay attention to their Paypal account showing a refund. Thanks

Find out their political party and donate one of the extra payments to the OTHER party.

I would have refunded the first time. The second time, I would wait for them to contact me. I wouldn't want to keep the money, but it is kind of ridiculous that they did this again, that is unreasonable.

Wow this same thing happened to me! The buyers name isn't Josie is it? Josie bought 5 items and paid the $5.50 shipping for each item. I told her I could ship them all for $20.00 less, so I would refund her 2 of the payments which would equal $20.00 (of course she sent it in 5 seperate payments). She actually emailed me back to thank me. Then bam, 3 days later she sent me the money for the 2 items again. I did email her back to tell her that I sent these out already, but I haven't heard back from her yet. I'm not refunding them again until she figures it out - I am convinced she'll just paypal me the money again.

Do you use Vendio check-out by chance? I have to say, from the buyers' side, if you review "my ebay" to see which items have been paid for and which haven't, the items paid for through VD checkout do not show as "paid" while the items paid directly through PP or through the PP button so show as paid. I'd bet your buyers are frequent shoppers and are just trying to make everything show "paid" in "my eBay". You should refund the money - it just takes a second and YOU are the one who wants people to use VD checkout for YOUR convenience!

I had a guy pay me three times this week. I think when someone does this they think the payment is not going through. I refund it and go on.

In my case they didn't use Vendio checkout. The items showed unpaid in her "my ebay" page because I had already refunded the payment twice with an explanation why. How many times would you refund the item with an explanation before you decide it's not worth the hassle anymore?

Ihula-No, different person

Neglus-I do use the Vendio checkout but all the buyer has to do is look at their Paypal account transactions and see that a refund is there. I check my transactions constantly to make sure everything is OK.

I am refunding this buyers money again and giving them another explanation. We'll see if they realize what they did!!!

I'll take these buyers over the deadbeats I've been getting past few weeks.
