Anyone know the best Pop up stopper? I have seen this on here before but I can't find it. Never needed it in the past but they are everywhere now.

http://www.panicware.com/

I don't know how to post a link, but this is the one I have used for over 6 months. I had a new one where a car drove into my screen last night so they must be getting more sophisticated, but this stops them all (other than that one new one).

I couldn't get anything done because of them before I installed this little program.

I installed it and zonealarm at the same time. Zonealarm says it has stopped 15,597 intrusions with 61 being high rated so I guess both are doing their job

All time HANDS DOWN best pop up stopper is: (drum roll please....)

The GOOGLE TOOLBAR!!!!

It stops 99.9% of all pop ups. The only one I've seen lately is the one at half.com with the dollar bills covering the search box.

This may be a dumb question but I'm asking anyway.... Do these Pop Up Stoppers in any way mess up the Norton Anti Virus program?

Not at all,maybedee...On the contrary, they are a necessary tool on the www and the recommendation re Google is right on the money...I've had other stoppers but Google, as in all things, is the best... and while you're there, check out their "Service and Tools" and "Google Labs" ...wunnerful stuff.
These gals/guys are brilliant...

I have Norton and the pop-up stopper does not prevent it from catching incoming viruses.

You could also download Mozilla and use that as your browser. Has an excellent pop up blocker built in.
