I could not get the pictures to come up. If you think they might be from the 20's then I have some Haviland ads in my shop you could compare your pattern to.

right click on the picture and see what it says....then enter
[url$]what the right click says [/url$]
and remove the $ signs. Or file then properties.

Hey, glassgirl, I like that new Haviland pattern! So modern, so manly. Haven't seen that before.

Hi merchant193
It works for you because you have the pictures cached. Try this one and change the names of the pics:

Sorry, I don't know the name. But this is the Haviland pattern that was being sold in Albertson's grocery stores just a few months ago. They were also selling a similar one that was pink & white.

Johann Haviland = Blue Garland

You didn't show the backstamp, I appears to be Johan Haviland, If so it is Blue Garland. J. Haviland should never be compared with Theodore Haviland or Haviland & Co. There is no relationship whatsoever, just the name "Haviland" J. Haviland's china is made either in Bavaria or the Phillipines. Haviland & Co's china is made in Limoges, France. Some of T. H's is made in USA.

Sanmar is correct. It is Johann, not real Haviland. It is not French Limoges. This stuff is mass produced and sold in grocery stores. It isn't worth much, and is difficult to sell because the eBay market is glutted with it. Also, Johann made patterns other than Blue Garland.
If you are new to Haviland and Limoges, don't confuse modern Johann with antique Limoges.
Do a search on eBay for "Johann Blue Garland" and you will see what I mean.

It is JOHANN HAVILAND, Bavaria, Germany. Distributed by independent grocery stores in the 1950's. It is the "Blue Garland" Pattern.

f you are new to Haviland and Limoges, don't confuse modern Johann with antique Limoges.
Or Theodore Haviland, New York.
