These ebay definitions were recently posted in another auction forum and are right on the mark in my estimation.

*HARD TO FIND* = Will be lost in mail after auction

*RARE* = Not able to be found at KMart

*VERY RARE* = No longer available in mail order catalogues

*ONE OF A KIND* = "I have no idea what this is."

*UNIQUE* = Tinkered together from parts yesterday

*UNUSUAL* = "Well, I've never seen one before."

*OLD* = Useless

*VERY OLD* = Very useless

*VINTAGE* = I was born in 1974, and it looks old to me.

*COLLECTIBLE* = I have WAY too many of these.

*CIVIL WAR* = Made in India last week

*PRIMITIVE* = Unrecognizable

*NICE* = I'm keeping the good one, and getting rid of this piece of s***.

*GREAT CONDITION* = Dents can be used as salt dips

*GREAT CONDITION FOR SOMETHING THIS OLD* = (see PRIMATIVE)

*FINE* = Paint covers flaws, parts taped in place

*PRISTINE* = "I thought that meant primitive."

*MINT* = Meticulously cleaned (spelling optional)

*NEAR MINT* = Cleaned even harder

*BRILLIANT SHINE* = What I just gave it with my buffer (to make it near mint)

*PATINA* = Rust

*WONDERFUL PATINA* = Deep rust with pits

*PERFECT* = "I have no idea what this is supposed to look like."

*MIB* = Mashed In Box

*ADORABLE* = Nauseating

*BEAUTIFUL* = Thinks rust is artistic
*CUTE* = Butt-ugly

*EXCEPTIONAL* = Has everything EXCEPT what you want

*FABULOUS* = Dictionary says this means Mythological, and the quality is

*STUNNING* = Garish

*UNBELIEVABLE* = In the bad sense

*WONDERFUL* = You'll WONDER where the rest of it is

*DON'T MISS THIS ONE!* = I'm really tired of dragging this around, somebody buy it!

*I WAS TOLD THAT THIS IS...* = No one bought this when I said what it REALLY was, so I'm gonna try calling it this.

*MUST SEE* = Lord knows the description won't pull you in without this added.

*NO RESERVE* = I used a massive beginning bid instead

**WOW!!!** = I'm really desperate

*L@@K* = please look at this item it has no good qualities that would otherwise make you want to check it out.

*SHABBY CHIC* = ANYTHING (and I mean ANYTHING) that has been picked up from the curb and is falling apart.

"SHIPPING AT YOUR OWN RISK" - Your biggest risk is that I sometimes don't feel like shipping. Right now, I'd say your odds are about 50-50.
