I don't think it is worth $8,000. But, it all looks very new. Even the kids stuff.

I agree, not worth 8000. I don't see anything of really great value. A lot of plastic & odds & ends.

Shopping at Ikea is their idea of living the high life?
Any more of these and ebay will have to add a new category. After the first couple of times the story seems pretty stale. At least the first guy wrote a book about it (I think he even got on Oprah).

Well obvious someone liked the items because they have $2,000.00 over their starting bid.
Not a bad way to sell everything if your down and out. I wish them good luck.

If I had $8,100, it certainly wouldn't be spent on that stuff. I really didn't see anything there to jump up and down about. If you want to see STUFF, you should come to my house. I don't think there is one corner that isn't filled with something. Now I have a true EBay house! I don't know about anyone else, but I'm a bit suspicious about the whole thing. You'd sell your kid's toys right out from under them? We were poor growing up and had to sell things, but my parents never sold our stuff. Sell everything I own for $8,000? I don't think so. Heck, my clothes are worth more than that. LOL
