I had a widget closed last Sunday without a winner. I only list things on Sunday, so I wasnt planning on relisting it until this pat Sunday. Well this bidder kept emailing me, everyday, begging mr to sell it to him at the closed price. After the 6th email I figured, well I usually relist the item at a cheaper price anyway, so might as well take this guys offer. I said sure, send me the payment.
3 days later I get a email from ebays saying I try to sell an item off ebays to a bidder without his permission, and if found guilty, I can be suspended? Huh?It was the bidder who contacted me, I didnt harrase jhim! What should I do? This was oviously a set up!

First, the auction was over. Second, he contacted you. You are perfectly within your rights to do as you wish with your item once the auction is over and Ebay cannot suspend you for this. Tell the guy to take a flying leap off the nearest skyscraper and contact Ebay.

You aren't in danger, you were solicited after the auction ended. I would keep all email messages, and more importantly, do not sell to this bidder, and block them from participating in your auctions.
