Happy Weekend everyone. As we are all busy listing, foto taking etc, I hope you have time to put your 2 cents in on this one. I have seen this around for about 2 weeks now. TWO different scenarios. Maybe this will give us all some ideas of what we can do besides just selling on ebay. I don't have time but here goes:
I subscribe to Want ad board that is pretty much a local one or so I thought. There is a person that goes to garage sales, estate sales etc and puts a link to her online list of fotos. I checked it out, she has to pay to list the fotos /with description and prices with this service. Anyway, these antiques and upper end garage sale items are listed with prices underneath. Looks like she has been successfully doing this for a couple of months now. The prices are comperable to ebay's sell thru prices. HUMMM instead of paying listing fees etc, she pays hosting fees. Takes online payments and ships to whoever buys them. She is always listing things there and every week she put out her garage sale listing saying something like "see what I have to sell " sometimes even a foto with a few things as you would for a garage sale and uses a link to this site. Looks very effective.
Gets away from ebay's fees, by passes the upcoming tax crap on ebay HUMMM a thought. This is one of them. I think i will list the other in a separate thread.
