Am I the only one who hates that? I tried
it. I don't like it. Yet eBay send me
e-mail today saying that 90% of sellers
do like it. I find that rather hard to
believe, but again, this is eBay, so...

So are there any good freeware programs
available to use for listing auctions and
eBay storefront items? I've download
several, but have yet to try any. Before
I begin installing them one at a time,
any suggestions on which might be good?
If not freeware, then which pay programs?
Thank you!

WHAT IS 2.0???

Second: I use AuctionTrackker for Posting, I've tried a number of programs, and it is definitely the fastest and smoothest to me.

For business records, I use AuctionTamer exclusively, I love it.

Neither are "Free Ware." Cost is tax deductible if you are declaring your sales on income tax.

2.0 is good if you have many similar items to sell, like they all belong to the same category, more or less the same description and terms.
it is nothing new, amzn has it all along, after you are thru listing an item, they ask you if you want to list a similar item in same category or not.
one thing i am perplexed is that ebay is coming up with more and more bells and whistles which are more time consumimg and this is good if most sellers have high ticket items to sell which yield a good profit, but the trend on ebay seems to be lower asking and lower final bids, more and more items are under 10,under 25??
does ebay know something we dont know??look at sears, they are selling returns, remainders and remanufactured items,so FOR WHOM THE BELLS TOLL??
bottom feeding scum buyers and sellers sure dont need fancy showroom with waterford chandelier and authentic persian carpet>
FOR WHOM??

I agree with zathras 11, I don't like 2.0 for listing. It may be that my computer is slow, eBay says it is much quicker, but I find it is definately slower, it takes so long to click to each new page and wait for it to come up, I would far rather have everything on one page.

Amber hit it on the nose! For me, it was
all the page loads. I also prefer it all
on one page. When I used it the one time
I gave up after several pages and just
went the normal way. I had auctions to
list and money to (hopefully) make. I don't
have time for this multi-page stuff! I
find it hard to believe that 90% prefer 2.0!

I got into sell 2.0 today and hate it . I had a way to post my stuff with html on the old page without buying anyones crap. Now the sell your item 2.0 uses about 5 pages to sell and each page has to load separately when you list. I have dsl and it is slow (about a second delay) I'd hate to see what it is like on a modem. How can we revolt to stop this and keep the original listing method? I think this is a way to get us to buy someones listing software. I wrote them a note about my dislike of the new stuff and they wrote one back that said "I wish you the best with your future transactions." In simpler words it doesn't matter what I think they are going to shove this down our throats! I guess the power sellers are where they make their money and guys like me that only sell a few hundred items a year are scum they figure they can live without!

One more comment. I postedmy coment without reading the others and they seem to be right where I am. I buy at auctions and house sales and dig thru my house and massive collection in my garage hence all my catagories are different. Really your catagoiries don't matter. As a buyer I look for what I want. Not by the catagory. I search for a Saab Muffler and if it is in the Winter Clothing catagory, I could care less. their search engine finds it. Sure some things I buy are by chance as I look thru a catagory but not very often. I wish you the best with your future transactions.

My mind wasn’t working when I asked what 2.0 was, I know.

Actually, I like it as we do many redundant items, and I can go from page one to the review, fast. Of course the only time I directly post on line is on a “relist,” but I liked it for such. ON THE OTHER HAND, I have had NOTHING but problems trying to use it this week – every time I try to use it, I get to “review” and the review won’t load! This is regardless of whether I try through Netscape of I.E.

Regarding 2.0, you don't have to go through each page, if you have your basics recorded. The times I use it, I go from page 1 to 5 without using the other pages.

I personally use AuctionTrakker for posting, fast, clean, and efficient. On the other hand I use AuctionTamer for all other business related actions, and record keeping.

2.0 bites. Get rid of it. Call your congressman (person). It needs to be stopped in it's tracks. I cannot afford DSL or Cable modem and cannot afford to take over 5 minutes for all of those very slow loading pages to appear. I usually don't list items that are the same catagory so it is worthless to me.

I'm sorry, but I don't know what 2.0 is. I have never heard of it. I use AW exclusively & have never had a problem. Granted I am not a big seller, maybe 500 items a year. Most of my sales are in china & procelain. Will someone clue me in.
