Just received my ebay invoice. After double checking the Final Fee, I have discovered that each one is 63 cents higher than it should be. Using my handy dandy calculator and ebays own website for FVF, they are making almost $1 extra on each sale.
Should be 5.25% .01 - 25.00
2.75% 25.01 - 1000.00

Check the math on your invoice and see what you come up with. Could be another "glitch" in the software.

What does Ebay say about this?

Mine looks fine. Is it each and everyone of your final fees?

Haven't gotten a response from ebay yet. Each of my items that ended on the same day are off by 63 cents. According to ebay, I should be charged 2.75% FVF for each item. I assume that it will take an eternity to hear from ebay on this.

Mrhaney... you are aware that the amount upto $25. is 5.25% that included items that ended for over $25.00
ie: item sold for $50.00 the FVF would be:
$1.31 (0-$25) plus 68 cents = $1.99

Did you have tons of items end for the same amount around $50? If you were figuring them all at a straight 2.75% then there is the answer.

There's no danger of developing eyestrain from looking at the bright side of things!

Sweetboo - your post makes no sense. If the FVF for items up to $25 is 5.25% then if an item closes at $50 then it should have a FVF of 2.75%. All of my items closed above $25 so should be charged FVF of 2.75%. Doing simple math shows that ebay overcharged.

I don't think you were over charged I think you are miss understanding Ebay fees.

$0 - $25 -- 5.25% of the closing value

$25 - $1,000 -- 5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31),
plus 2.75% of the remaining closing value balance.

Over $1,000 -- 5.25% of the initial $25 ($1.31),
plus 2.75% of the initial $25-$1000 ($26.81),
plus 1.50% of the remaining closing value balance.

Read carefully Items $25 to $1000 are charged 5.25% of the intial $25 or ($1.31) Pluss 2.75% of the remaining balance.

Not just charged 2.75%

hope this helps

dman - now i get it. after your explanation i went and double checked the ebay site. BTW it looked totally different from when I looked at it the other day. My error then. But it still is ridiculous to charge 2 FVF for the same item. Ebay really does try to stick it to us sellers.
Sweetboo - It would appear that this is what you were trying to explain and I didn't get it.
Thanks
