Well I had it with half. I still had a few stuff running, but today I moved them over to ebays! Remember the dispute I had with a dishonest customer there who refused the package, as shown in the usps DC but then claim they NEVER got the item, even though I didnt recieve the item? Well i get this today

----
Hi,

If an item is refused, it is immediately returned to the sender, even
Media Mail. If you have not received theis item back from the USPS,
then they must reimburse you for the shipment since they have lost it.
Since the tracking number you have provided shows that the item was
returned to you, I have no choice but to debit your account for this
transaction. I did not, however debit you for the shipping
reimbursement since you did ship it out in good faith. I am very sorry,
but you will have to speak to the USPS about getting your money back
from them since their Delivery Confirmation number shows it is being
returned to you.

So I took this letter and talk to the postral rep who handles insurance, as well as the postral inspector, whom both said they do NOT reinburse you for a lost item if refused by media mail! both of them also said refused media mail will go to the dead mail section, and tha this person doesn't know what they are talking about!!!

UGH! I had it! I am glad i sold some high end stuff at ebays so I don't have to face this crap from half again! I am out 75.00, (in fact all the problems I had at half.com are high end stuff, over 50.00? Something to think about) I am a single dad with a son who is diabetic, and that money could have bought his bloodtest strips!!!

sorry I am mad, I just didn't need this crap from half-ASS.com! Maybe if we sellers stick together, we can have "some" say over there over dishonest customers! It's bad enough I feel sorry for daleeric, is this a sign to come for us sellers?

I agree with you that Half.com has rinky-dink customer service. They have a long history of screw-ups. For instance, Half use to tell everyone to put their Pennsylvania address as the return address on all packages until the post office told them that it was illegal to mail from one locale with a different return address.

WRONG! WRONG! WRONG!

Tell those clowns to read:

F010.5.4 sec's "b" & "c"

BOUND PRINTED MATTER is TRASHED if refused by the recepient!

MEDIA MAIL is RETURNED TO THE SENDER!!

No wonder they ask for more money! They probably can't COUNT what they already have!

USPS personnel are frequently wrong about regualtions and rates. I always check the regs on the USPS site if I have a question. And you can't win an argument at the PO counter, either. I have taken printouts from the USPS site to the PO and the clerks get very upset and defensive if they think their ignorance is being questioned. So I end up just going to another PO on another day and the problems don't come up.

The poor clerks are just victims of a monstrously huge bureaucracy. When I took books in for mailing today one had to ask me if they included any hazardous material. Yeah, books are hazardous to ignorance. He said he was now required to ask every customer the same thing.
