After reading all the horror stories of Vero'd items here I had my first and last verio auction removal for a Chanel scarf.
It will be my last because I have a list printed out of the vero companies and I won't buy anything new or used from a company on the list. I also gave a copy to my wife and she agreed there was no company on the list that she could not live without their goods.
I understand the need to control knock offs - but not to deny an owner the right to sell his property.
If these companies wish to control what is done with an item after they have been paid for it and we own it then I will offer them the ultimate of control - they can keep it in their control permenantly.
don't count on it being your last I was once VEROed by someone who had no connection to the brand name in question but had registered with vero as the holder of patent for a whole type of product
In my case my item didnt evan remotley resemble what this dork made but he was allowed to close my auction
