Just now I went to attach a picture in image hosting in AW and saw a blank box with "no preview available" in it. The item is "scarfdormont2". I didn't put it there - so how could it have gotten there? Someone fooling around in my auctions?

I never heard of a scarfdormont. What is it?

I think that if you want a reply from someone at AW, you should post your question here:

I have had this happen before. It is as though someone else's pictures show up in my images. I usually just delete it and go on.

rarriffle - AW said that happens when you view someone elses auction while you are logged into auctionwatch. Could have been - I don't pay any attention to stuff like that. Anyway I did delete it. It was just so unexpected to see it.

JDK156. So that is where my image went. When I put my images in the image file I do them according to catagory. Jewelry, ties, scarf etc. Well, when I went to do my auction for ebay I had a blank picture and that was scarfdormont2. Here is the auction number 708240118 That is what a scarfdormont is. Strange things are happening....

libra63 - Yes it's strange since I did NOT look at that scarf. BUT I did look at one auction of ties you had. Anyway it is strange that YOUR title showed up in my list. There was no picture though so I couldn't figure out what it was. Rest assured I wasn't doing anything strange in your auctions. Wouldn't know how if I wanted to - which I don't.

Someone messed up our little one word story. Did you see it?

For a while www.boomspeed.com was mixing up people's stored images and many users of the free service are online auction sellers. A person might see a wedding photo on a coin auction or a lot worse combinations where risque photos were stored.

For what it is worth, I had the identical blank image and title in my images today..and deleted it, since I hadn't a clue as to what it was...and I have never looked at your auction, Libra. Something mysterious is afoot!

Thanks snugglump199. I wonder how many others got my blank picture. The strange thing about it is when I downloaded the picture to AW it was there, when I went to check it it as not there. I just went to the Message forum and asked Sonya that question. Go ahead and visit my auctions you never know you might find something you like. When and if I find the answer I will post it.
