Hi all,

You've helped in the past an hope that you can do so again.

I recently sold 2 items to the same buyer. He came in at the last minute and bid on them. (Very happy about that!!!) But now he won't pay for the shipping because he says that it's too much money. I gave the guy $2 off (which makes most ppl happy)total s/h. He says that I'm only suppose to advise of actual shipping cost and that I can't have handling cost unless advised, which I do advise that price includes a handling charge. Now this guy says that he doesnt want to buy the items anymore and that I can't leave any type of feedback for him because it will be retailiatory.

Hope you all can help.

"But now he won't pay for the shipping because he says that it's too much money"

Sounds like a real "winner". I would not get into a email war with this person. Waste of time. This is what I would do.

Send your eoa email with your total price again, If they do not comply, wait till you can file for your NPB notice, relist, then file for your FVF at the right time.

This clown is not worth all of your time.
Put them on your future bidders block and email block.

You do not need this problem child in your life.

"Now this guy says that he doesnt want to buy the items anymore and that I can't leave any type of feedback for him because it will be retailiatory"

Treat them for what they are and move on.

Void the sale and file a FVF, and neg him. His little game will end soon if he keeps it up. He's wrong about the feedback, you can leave any sort of feedback even if it is retalitory. Ebay sent me a letter saying it is allowed. Since he's violating your terms of sale, it is not retalitory feedback.

Don't bargain with this loser. It's not how auctions are run where buyers haggle after the auction.

I don't understand if your auction says S/H then that is what is meant. He should never have bid if he didn't like the terms. I would go back to your original S/H charges send your WBN again and if he doesn't like it tough. If he ever becomes a seller he will understand what S/H means. I know some people charge a handling fee besides their material fee and thats fine. Run your business like you want and if he doesn't like it tell him to forget about it file for you NPB first then 10 days after that file the FVF form. Remember to block him from bidding on your auctions in the future.

Do you put how much the shipping and handling is in the auction? If not how much handling are you charging?

Here's some interesting info...

Get this the guy is a seller! And he is selling exactly what I am selling. So this guy is going to resell these items. I know he is!!!!! I would totally LOVE to tell this guy where to go, but my husband wants us to finalize the transaction and move on.

Well the saga continues...

Yes, I do. I list my s/h amounts in every auction. For these 2 particular auctions the s/h for eacch item was $6

Sounds like you have done everything right. I would file an NPB and then FVF folowed by 2 Negatives. The retalitory negatives you might get are part of doing business on eBay. I personaly have 5 retalitory Negatives and it has not hurt my business at all.

You might be suprised I have left over 20 Negatives and only 5 have left retalitory Negatives for me.

if he is selling whatever you are selling, then i assume sooner or later he will sell whatever he bot from you.
so why not tell him that you will hold on to the items and ship to the ultimate buyer when he lists your item for sale.
that way,he saves on shipping ,handling and you get paid for shipping and handling
