I seem to remember someone posting a site where you can look up patten a number, amyone remember that?

patten mumber I am looking up is 64211.....
can and anyone help with that??

Hold on...

It depends on if it's a Design Patent or an Invention Patent. Two different number lists.

Design Patent numbers are often preceded by a "Des." or a "D" (but not always), like Des. 67745 for example.

If it is a Design Patent the year for #64211 is 1924.

If it is from the year 1867 it is an Invention Patent.

You probably need to judge by the age of the piece. Or, if there is a "D" or "Des." in front of the number then the mystery is solved.
