I can NOT believe this!
The 1st time it happened I thought I'd simply
clicked on an A4A icon..
The 2nd time I was annoyed.
The THIRD time that is enough!
This is how it happened all THREE times...
I was looking to buy items..to view the pictures of the item I had to "Click to view item" tab(which takes you to another sight to view the picture of the auction.)...
When hitting the back button is when up pops EBAY'S HOME PAGE! With A4A promently displayed.
It is simply getting WORSE...how the heck is the 'new buyer' ever going to figure out how to get to the regular /normal auctions with A4A popping up like this?

I've had it with all the A4A auctions also. Maybe we should just all boycott ebay and go to Bidville or Yahoo. We'd probably have a better chance of seeing bidders there than at our regular Ebay auctions!

You know what? ExecGirl is absolutely right! We spend $ to list stuff and are being placed on the back burner of ebay because of this A4A crap! It is more than evident by searching through listings. The A4A stuff is getting preferential treatment and, most obviously, bids!
I really hope that this won't go on through Christmas as it is scheduled to do because it will pretty much kill any business for those who expect to make a living selling...

Executive Girl- I posted a thread in the yahoo forum stating that I plan to return to yahoo auctions for my a large part of my holiday selling. I am not saying I will boycott ebay completely, but I won't be listing much on ebay.
I certainly sympathize with the 9/11 terrorist victims, but I would prefer to donate money directly to the charities of my choice, and I don't appreciate the co-ercion on ebay's part. They have put all of us under an enormous amount of pressure. Who needs it?
yahoo has its problems without a doubt, but there are many things I really do like about the site- free gallery, greater flexibility in choosing your auction's ending time, no FVF...and lately the best reason- NO AFA!

So what happens when Yahoo starts to emulate A4A auctions? eBay is doing it to build Billpoint under the guise of patriotism. Yahoo would do it to build Pay Direct and more traffic.
