my ebud version 2.84 keeps saying ut o and wont retrive any new bids anyone else having this problem today

It's not working for me either, and according to the Auctiva dicussion boards, it's not working for anyone.
The assumption is that eBay has once again made changes that have crippled it, but so far no one from Auctiva has acknowledged that there is a problem.

I just can't wait until I start paying the monthly fee for this product in November. You know the product that I supposedly paid a one-time fee for 3 years ago, back when it actually worked more than 30% of the time.

Thier website has been down intermittantly for the last few days. But if they did fold, it wouldn't surprise me one bit. It took them so long to acknowledge the eBud problem today, I don't feel too good about everything being OK on their end.

I bought ebud from the originator 3 years ago also, doesn't bode well for this pay as you go scheme about to start in November. Serious lack of communication on their part with this current problem. Cutesy poo "oh-oh" aint cuttin the mustard eh?

Mine completely died today and won't retrieve any new data.
I have been limping along the past couple of weeks with their excuses about ebay and updates, but now I cannot even access their website either thru eBud, nor direct thru Netscape or Explorer.
I can't even get to the "new" 2.84 that I read about earlier today before the crash.
Sure wish John still had control like the old days.
Is anybody's working at all today ???

Mine is not working at all today and I have 2.84. I was able to post a support request but I am sure it is one of dozens, all saying the same thing.
Last time I tried to post an auction yet again, my entire computer froze and I had to shut off at wall and start over.
This sucks!

ARRRGH!.....so we are all in the same boat and cant use ebud or eposter. Does anyone know of a way that we can get auctions listed using the files from eposter with the suffix .eby?
Or are we unable to get the html out of these files so that we could post them manually at eBay?
If we cant post using eposter....has anyone found a safe easy alternative to eposter?
I have 7 listings all done and ready to post tonight with eposter not working. I didnt get any listings posted last night because of the problem and dont want to go another night with no new listings on eBay.

I have the solution, after working on it for hours with the help of the 2 threads in here.
Auctiva was under some kind of computer attack and was down for awhile, but their website is back up as of about 8:30 eastern.
The only version that works fine now is 2.85. It now refreshes without the uh-oh, etc. However, they are only making available 2.84 on their site, and it is over 9 mb's big and even took awhile to get on dsl.
The only way to get to 2.85 right now is to first download and install the huge new 2.84, and then go to the new automatic update feature and get the new, smaller 2.85, which will even do all the updating for you automatically that we used to have to do manually.
This is a pain but it will work !
AW - Please do not close this thread like you did the other one, as there are alot of us loyal AW and ebud users that need to know all of this info now. Thanks.

At LEAST i can use my eposter right now.
I am launching all the listings i made up last and today while the site is up and running.
THEN...I will bite the bullet and get 2.84 and THEN update to 2.85
PHEW!....this is a real stress point in my life but it could be worse, as I could have the troubles that the people in NYC have. The events of 9/11 have made me realize how petty our listing and auction problems really are by comparison. That is why I ran 10 auctions this week with the proceeds going to the relief fund which i AM giving dierectly and not through AfA(sorry this last bit was a bit off topic but I feel we still all do have to consider just how lucky we are sitting at home in front of our 'puters typing safe and secure)

Just downloaded the new 2.85 and it is working fine for me. Still bothered by the lack of response from auctiva though, they just let us hang.
